Optimum parameters of deoxynivalenol synthesis by micromycete F. graminearum on grain substrates

Today, fusariotoxins play an increasingly important role in the pathology of farm animals, among which deoxynivalenol plays role. Deoxynivalenol (DON) is one most common fusariotoxins. It affects health animals that consume contaminated feed, and can lead to various metabolic disorders, disrupting body's homeostasis. One main effects it stimulates production anti-inflammatory cytokines, turn causes acute phase inflammation animals. In addition, leads a decrease appetite cause hypophagia daily gains. The direction conducted research aimed at identifying optimal substrate for synthesis its maximum accumulation by fungus F. graminearum, also established parameters mycotoxin (cultivation temperature, humidity, cultivation period). Grains following crops were used as substrates: wheat, rice, corn, barley, oats, rye, millet, peas, soybeans, sunflower, mustard, rapeseed, buckwheat, flax. samples was determined thin-layer chromatography. studied temperature ranges 4, 17, 24, 28 °C; humidity range from 14–90 % duration 1 4 weeks. mycotoxin-producing activity graminearum isolate 195/1 largely parameters. amount produced 24 ºС, 50%, days. Of tested substrates, rice best production. obtained results serve basis possible prediction feed contamination with and, general, will allow optimize measures combat mycotoxicosis thus minimize risks poisoning people
